In just two short weeks, 24 8th graders and 6 chaperons will be boarding a plane from Memphis, TN to NYC! This week we have a busy schedule ahead as we prepare for our big adventure.
On Tuesday, Ms Lippe, Ms. G, Ms. Parker, and Coach Neuwirth will host parent meetings to distribute packing lists, t-shirts, and luggage and give parents the finalized itinerary for the trip. We will be having meetings in two different locations to accommodate the parents of our students who live in Elaine, which approximately 30 miles from the school.
On Thursday, students will attend their second-to-last pre-trip meeting. At this meeting they will learn about airline restrictions, airport security, subway safety, and how to safely navigate the busy streets of NYC.
